Highly recommend this venue, I would definitely return; the room had its own internet device and the bed was very comfortable.

The food was great with good choice of alternatives. It was such wonderful 2 days, will certainly stay here again.

The room was large and huge, with with internet connection and a very nice view, for example. The staff was exceptionally nice during our whole stay. The location was stunning, right next to Cafe Chill.

We absolutely loved staying at Horizon Root Inn. the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of their little garden. the host, Ishani, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without imposing on our personal space. the breakfast was massive and delicious. We were also impressed with the location, as it was a peaceful 10-minute walk from the center. Ishani even helped us organize transport to Talalla. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior. , the hotel's convenient location was perfect for someone like me, with only a short 4-minute walk to reach the city center. It was such a relief to have everything so easily accessible.

If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have handrails installed in the common areas. As someone who values safety and stability, having handrails would provide extra support and make moving around the hotel even more comfortable for elderly guests.

We had a great time staying here for three nights with our two dogs. Everything was just perfect, especially having breakfast on the terrace.

We had a fantastic stay at Horizon Root Inn. The location was perfect - just a short walk from the busy town but still in a peaceful and idyllic setting. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner provided by Madam were delicious and a great value. The warm and friendly hospitality of the family running the inn made us feel right at home. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Ella.

The staff at this accommodation went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. On our first day, we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink. The receptionist even cracked a joke that instantly lightened the mood and made us feel at home.

Navigation Difficulty: Finding the inn proved to be a bit challenging, as the directions provided were not accurate.

Great hosts who went above and beyond, offering laundry services and even giving us a ride to our next destination. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The location was perfect, close to the main attractions in the area. Additionally, we loved the presence of the adorable dogs on the property.

The dogs barked quite a bit, especially at night, which can be common in Sri Lanka due to the large number of stray dogs in the area. The wifi was a bit slow as it relied on 4G.

Mind-blowing owner always ready to help, feels very private, cozy and comfortable room, super amazing breakfast, delicious dinner, great location.

The location, though not central, was within walking distance of the main attractions. The spacious room, with a cozy porch, provided a perfect spot to relax amidst nature. I highly recommend this homestay for a memorable and enjoyable experience.
